Free Web-Based Email Services

These are in-browser email services. you really do not need any third-party software to read your email. Just navigate to the service's page, login to your account and access your mail. Free email service which provide a whopping 1 GB account space for your mails. The service also provides you with attactment options, virus checks, auto-responders, junk-mail removal, address book and access via Outlook Express.

GlobePoint∞
More a social website. This place provides you with web-based email, enabling you to share photos, runs blogs and more. Check it out.

Gmail∞
Web-based email from one of the internet giants: Google∞. Also avaible is POP email from them, they give you 2 GB (!!) space for your account, no ads, email forwarding and serach engine. Also the User Interface is really very neat and no-nonsense type. Quick service is also to be noted. Recommended.

Hushmail∞
An easy to get web-based email service which provides encryption along with regular funtions like spam filtering, virus protection, address book, etc.

Lycos mail∞ or Lycos UK∞
Not that much space, but still a good one. Along with regular options.

MSN Hotmail∞
Good one from Microsoft. One of the rare products which is free. Generous space, good layout and interface.

My Way∞
Provides you with 125 MB of space along with other things.

openmail.cc∞
Good service with no advertising.

Opera Web Mail∞
An email service from the makers of the popular Opera Web Browser.

TheDoghouseMail∞
Free email with 25 MB of space along with attachments of file size limit of 10 MB. Along has regular options like spam filter and virus filter.

WowMail∞
Yet another email service.

Yahoo! Mail∞
Among the best email services. Provides 1 GB of space, (now unlimited?) with virus checking and anti-spam.
